Research Interest: |
My research focuses on microbial and plant biotechnology with emphasis on using modern molecular tools to improve agricultural sustainability. I work on: 1. Microbial genomics, metagenomics, and functional gene discovery 2. CRISPR/Cas9-based genome editing in microbes for agriculturally important traits 3. RNA interference (RNAi) and gene silencing approaches 4. Plant transgenic development for stress tolerance and trait improvement 5. Development of microbial bio-inputs to support sustainable agriculture |
