Guidelines for ordering microbial cultures

• Kindly visit website www.nbaim.org.in. Go to NAIMCC page that has microbial catalogue search. Search the catalogue for desired microorganisms as per your requirement.
• Attach the Departments HoD/ Institutes/Companys/Industrys competent authority covering letter on official letter head for the requirements.
• Attach dully filled and signed Material Transfer Agreement (MTA).
• Submit all above documents to Director, ICAR-NBAIM through emails (director.nbaimicar@gmail.com)
• After receiving confirmation for the availability of culture(s), pay the requisite service fee through payment gateway available at www.nbaim.org.in and share the transaction details with naimcc.nbaim@hotmail.com.

Terms and Conditions for Supply of cultures:

• Recipients of cultures should not pass on the culture(s) to others.
• All culture(s) should be handled carefully taking proper and established safety precautions.
• ICAR-NBAIM is not responsible for any misuse or improper handling of its supplied cultures.
• Purity, authenticity and viability of cultures are carefully examined by the NAIMCC, ICAR-NBAIM. However, if there are any complaints about the supplied cultures, please inform us within one month for free replacement of ordered culture(s). The NAIMCC will not entertain complaints received beyond this period and payment has to be made again for procurements.
• Full payment has to be done in advance.
• Confirm the availability of culture(s) before payment.
• Culture(s) will be sent only after payment confirmation.
• Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) is to be provided before culture supply.
• Some properties like production of metabolites, degradation of specific compounds etc. associated with cultures are not normally checked. These properties are referred as quoted by the depositors. NAIMCC, ICAR-NBAIM does not guarantee the desired trait(s) which emanated to ordered culture(s).
